Educranium is alive!
Educranium, an education consulting firm, was created by Dr. Matthew J. Keil with a mission to enhance America's education system one organization at a time. Matt has over 20 years of education experience working with every age group from pre-school to senior citizens including business leaders, astronauts, professors, engineers, scientists, administrators, teachers, parents, professional athletes, and olympians. Matt has achieved a Doctorate Degree in Education with a focus on Curriculum and Instruction from Texas A&M University, Master of Science Degree with a focus on Natural and Applied Science from Oklahoma State University, and Bachelor of Science Degree in Technology Education from State University of New York.
Matt started his career teaching technology at a high school in the State of Maryland while running a video production company, Bayside Productions, and freelance filming of NFL games for CBS Sports. He gave up all positions to work for NASA Goddard Space Flight Center as an Aerospace Education Specialist near Washington D.C. and then NASA Johnson Space Center in Houston, Texas, training astronauts for on-orbit education and eventually managing NASA Office of Education professional development and partnerships. Matt was a key player in the development of partnerships with NASA, Disney, Lego, Sesame Street, Google, National Football League, National Hockey League, and NASCAR. Matt has received many awards including an Emmy for an education video production, National Technology Teacher of the Year, and District and State Teacher of the Year. Matt's greatest accomplishment is marrying his wife, Alissa, and having his three children Benjamin, Abby Kaye, and Lincoln. After 10 years at NASA he chose to move his family back to his wife's hometown in Minnesota for a more peaceful life by the lake and position as Dean with Minnesota State. Along with leading Educranium, Matt also continues teaching to stay apprised on all the latest challenges and resources available in America's education system.
Matt surrounds himself with educational professionals from around the nation to create Educranium's unique and amazing team. Matt and Educranium's team of professionals will successfully lead your project from inception to conclusion.
